Lord Byng Pool

We offer swimming and water safety lessons for all ages. “Waterbabies” for children 6-36 months; “Bubble Buddies” for children 3-5 years; “Swim Kids” for children from 6 years, youth stroker for those 13 - 18 years old and adult lessons. It’s never too early or too late to learn to swim..

Bronze Medallion
Provides practice and understanding of four lifesaving principles. Challenges lifesavers to deal with increased level of risk rescues. Develops stroke efficiency and endurance.
13 years and older.

Bronze Cross
Provides advanced lifesaving skills and more challenging waters rescues. Candidates are introduced to spinal injured victims, pool safety supervision and the principles of emergency procedures. Price does not include the manual. Prerequisites: Bronze Medallion

Junior Lifeguard Club is designed to meet the needs of swimmers in a swim club style format with regular coached workouts. The JLC focuses on fun and developing skills using personal-bests to determine achievement. Emphasis is on swimming skills, lifesaving, fitness, leadership, and teamwork. Junior Lifeguard Telegames and Competitions provide an opportunity for participants to compete with others in their age group.

Participant requirements: AQ12, Swim kid 10, or higher swimming ability,
12 – 16 years of age.
