Our Special Events here at West Point Grey have a distinctive feeling to them as they are presented in our beautiful Aberthau house. The Aberthau House offers and develops accessible special events that celebrate this unique community.

West Point Grey Community Centre provides residents and visitors with family style entertainment, by producing and promoting holiday celebrations.

Fall
Our Fall is a very busy Season with an array of events consisting of an annual Craft Fair, Lighting of Aberthau, Breakfast with Santa, semi-annual Pottery Sale, and the hair-raising transformation into a Haunted Mansion.

Winter
Events include, Asian Heritage Month, Diwali festival, and culminating with our Aberthau Family Easter.

Spring
Jericho Arts Centre located across the street offers a Gala Evening within JAC. Events include the Kids Swap Meet and the Pottery Sale. An occasion that is anticipated by all is the West Point Grey Fiesta which occurs on an annual basis will take place June 20-22. This is a time for the community to engage in fun, laughter, and games with each other.

Summer
Our location near the spectacular beachside sands of Jericho, Locarno, and Spanish Banks allow for quality summer days and evenings. Enjoy our annual Sandcastle Competition with over a 1000 competitors out to enjoy a fun day at the beach. And Prizes too!! Observe, compete, or watch the sand being moulded into fantastic designs.
