Darcy has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia. He is a venture capitalist and acts as a consultant to an Asian private equity firm. Darcy has lived in West Point Grey since 1992, and his two daughters danced and learned to swim at West Point Grey Community Centre. Darcy has participated in a weekly program at the West Point Grey CC gym for years.
