Congratulations to AJ Alagao who is the recipient of the West Point Grey Community Association Scholarship. AJ has dedicated over 300 hours to the community centre as a volunteer helping with all the Special Events and Day Camps over the past three years. He has become an important part of the centre with children and families asking for him at events. Due to AJ’s commitment, positive demeanour and hardworking attitude, AJ is also employed at the centre as a Birthday Party Leader on the weekends and with the Preschool (Tiny Tikes) Day Camps. AJ graduated from Prince of Wales Secondary this past June and is looking forward to starting his post-secondary studies at UBC in the Fall and continuing to stay involved at the centre.
