Laura’s talk, “Pacific Spirit Park Society: Connecting Community to Nature in Our Beautiful Backyard Park,” will provide an overview of the role of PSPS. The nonprofit park partner works together with Metro Vancouver Regional Parks to enhance the community’s connection to natural spaces. Laura will briefly touch on the history of the society and the wide array of programs with which the society is involved. She will also share information about volunteer opportunities with PSPS.
