LEGO City! Campers will build their city brick-by-brick and learn about the pioneers of transportation and how human strength, imagination, and innovation took some wheels to revolutionize the world. Fire and Flower - Girls Empowerment Camp (10-12 yrs)
A specialty program to empower girls in their awesome transition into young womanhood. This is a place where you can be real, ask questions, and be accepted and celebrated for who you are. We learn about body positivity, physical changes, media literacy, healthy friendships, etc. and balance everything with time in nature, games and crafts. Mad Science - Eureka! The Inventor’s Camp
Inventing means curiosity, practicality, necessity, cooperation, and dreaming! Children will overcome a series of challenges using basic materials, simple machines, tips from famous inventors and the most important of all – their mind. With a little bit of ingenuity children will create catapults and forts, construct working light sticks to take home and assemble a set of circuits with batteries and light bulbs. While Thomas Edison said “invention is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration”, this camp is 100% FUN!
Mad Science - Red Hot Robots - Day Camp (7-11 yrs)
Red Hot Robots is a week-long camp that explores robotics and electrical engineering. Participants will learn about the uses of robots in our world and spend time experimenting with super cool robots! Children will spend each day exploring a different area of robotics and then apply that knowledge to the building of their own robot to take home at the end of the week.
