Many of us are probably more familiar with online video conferencing platforms, and perhaps technology headaches, than ever before – your West Point Grey Community Centre Association Board of Directors included. This year has certainly come with its fair share of challenges, but it has also shown us how adaptive and resilient we are as a community.
The new protocols and routines we have adopted are helping stop the spread of COVID-19. At the community centre, we have implemented rigorous cleaning protocols and spacing guidelines for our in-person classes to do our part to keep patrons safe. Thanks to our dedicated staff, including our programming team and maintenance crew, our operations have successfully adapted to meet the needs of this challenging time.
A big thank-you to you, our patrons, too, for your patience, kindness and ongoing involvement in our programming. We greatly appreciate your support, and will continue to work hard to offer you arts, culture and recreation programming at our facilities to help you stay healthy in mind, body and spirit.
